Keep a lookout for cats that aren’t tipped at the ear; call your local humane society so we can give them care they need
Why does it matter?
Spaying local stray cats prevents overpopulation due ’ to quick reproduction. This prevents the disease that stray cats carry from spreading to your beloved pet.
Why not keep them?
Most cats that come in are feral, meaning they can’t be tamed or made into good pets. Ultimately, everyone is happier if they are spayed and let them be.
Sometimes, if cats are young enough, we will put them up for adoption to give them homes at the shelter.
Does spaying hurt them?
The cats are under anesthesia while the procedure is being done. In addition, while the cats are under, they are given care for any other ailments that they might have.
